Only “Connect Paris” is entitled to use the relevant intellectual property rights and publicity rights. In particular, brands, models, author and image copyright, either by original title or through authorization. Access to the website, as well as the use of its contents, are subject to the Terms of Use described below. The fact of accessing and navigating the website constitutes on the part of the visitor unconditional acceptance of the following stipulations.

The present general conditions associated with all the other rules to which reference is made apply to the orders of the products for sale via the online Boutique as a whole. We ask you to read carefully the Terms and Conditions below. Of course, the present terms and conditions do not affect your rights as a consumer.

1. OBJET

“Customer(s)” designates the Internet users navigating on the connectparis.net website and purchasing products online for their personal use.

“Products” designates the products offered for sale on the electronic commerce Internet website accessed through the address connectparis.net

“Etiquette” or “Tag” designates the form associated with the product which allows the handling of returns (cf article below).

“Boutique” or ” E-Shop” designates the digital commerce Internet website accessible by the Internet network at the address connectparis.net which offers its products for sale.

“Terms and Conditions” designates the present general conditions of sale of the products on the website.

2. ACCEPTING YOUR ORDER

Before submitting your order
You will have the opportunity to verify your selection and the total of your order (delivery included) and to correct all eventual typing mistakes.

You acknowledge reading and accepting the current Terms & Conditions.

After ordering
We will send you a confirmation email mentioning your order number and the description of the products you have ordered.
All orders are accepted by “Connect Paris”, except in cases foreseen by the present Terms & Conditions (for example: a product is no longer available, payment issues).

During your first order
You have to sign up and fill in the fields that appear on your order note. We will ask you to use a username and password, or through another means, to access certain parts of our e-shop. The security and confidentiality of these secure access codes will be your sole responsibility.

Keeping your account secure
You must adhere to our security rules and regulations, and immediately inform us if you learn of or suspect any non-authorized use of your security codes.
Without prejudice to any of our rights and remedies, we can suspend your access to our e-shop without notice and without our legal obligation if we esteem that such an action is necessary to ensure the security of our e-shop.
“Connect Paris” nevertheless reserves the right to cancel any order from a customer with whom it has a conflict relating to a previous order payment, or for any legitimate reason that takes into account any abnormality.

Product availability
If certain products appearing in our e-shop are not available, indicate the wrong price or their description is incorrect, we are not under the obligation to sell them to you. We will inform you in the case of the unavailability of the products you have ordered.
Though we strive to translate the colours of our products in the most precise manner possible, we cannot guarantee that their appearance in real life will match their appearance on screen.

3. PRICES

All prices in our e-shop are indicated in Euros. VAT is included.

We strive to guarantee the exactitude of prices shown on our e-shop. However, an error may occur, and the prices of certain products could be incorrect.

  • If the correct price of a product is inferior to that indicated on the e-shop, we will charge you the lowest price of the two and send you the product.
  • If the correct price of a product is superior to that indicated on the e-shop, we will contact you and ask you if you desire to maintain your order with the correct price or if you wish to cancel it (and in this case, we will confirm its cancellation). We are under no obligation to provide you with products with incorrect pricing.

“Connect Paris” can modify the prices indicated on the e-shop at any moment without warning. However, the changed prices will only be applicable on new orders and not for those that have already been accepted.

4. TERMS AND MEANS OF PAYMENT

When making a purchase on our website, you confirm that you are 18 years old or over.

To be able to purchase on the connectparis.net website, you must:

- be a credit/debit card holder

- guarantee that the personal information provided during the signing up process is genuine, exact and up-to-date on all accounts. The total of your order corresponds to the price of products and delivery costs (except Switzerland, where taxes and custom fees can be added at time of delivery)

The payment of your purchases is made with through the secured payment platforms, Société Générale and Paypal. You can pay your purchases with a credit card, Visa and Mastercard or through your Paypal account.

You must provide your bank details when you submit your order.

All credit card holders are subject to a validation and authorisation test by the issuing organisation.

If the issuing organisation or bank refuses the authorisation of the payment, we cannot accept your order. In this case, we are not responsible for any delay or refusal of delivery and are under no obligation to inform you of the reason of the refusal.

We are not responsible for any charges that your bank may subject you to when paying your order by credit card.

5. BILLING

We reserve the right to send electronic bills, and you must accept this type of billing.

The electronic bill is a proof of purchase, and therefore we recommend saving and printing a copy of this document for your own consultation.

6. DELIVERY, PROPERTY RIGHTS AND RISKS

Orders will be delivered to the delivery address you have indicated to us on the order form and at your expense. We will not be held responsible for an incorrect address. Please note that we will not deliver to post office boxes. Delivery of Products bought in our online Boutique may be subject to territorial restrictions. We will supply you on request with the list of delivery zones.

Your order will be delivered within 5 business days, except for orders made outside of France (zone 2). The delivery period is 7 business days for zone 2. Please note that a business day corresponds to a day during which French banks are open, with the exception of Saturdays and Sundays. If we fail to deliver your order within the above period, your only recourse against us consists of your right to cancel the order in question and to be totally reimbursed for the amount you paid for that order.

Transfer of property of the Products is effective from the date of delivery of the Products to the address you indicated to us.

On delivery of the Product, you bear all the risks of damage or loss.

In the case of multiple orders, we reserve the possibility to deliver the Products separately (each partial delivery constitutes a separate contract) or to only delivery part of the order.

If we haven’t managed to deliver your order in delivery time promised

You have the right to cancel your order and be refunded of the total amount that you paid for the order in question.

Ownership of the products is passed onto you on the delivery date at the delivery address you have indicated during your order.

As soon as you have received the product, all risk of damage or loss of the product is passed onto you.

Noting anomalies

In the case of an apparent anomaly of the package (for instance, damaged package, opened package, traces of liquid,etc.) the buyer or recipient of the ordered products should not open the package, but should bring it back unopened to a post office within a period of five business days and fill out a “report of spoliation”.

Opening the package excludes all recourse against the transporter (the Post Office, UPS..) We also invite you to inform Connect Paris of the problem by contacting the customer service at serviceclients@connectparis.net

Customers in countries outside of the European Union are responsible for the payment of any Custom charges for merchandise entering their territory. It is understood that these customers pay for the products excluding VAT (the tax amount is not reflected in the product price in the online boutique).

7. RETURNING PRODUCTS

If despite all our efforts you are not content with your purchase, abiding by the article L.121-20 of the consumer code, you have 15 days starting from the date you received the product in order to return your article(s) at your own cost, unless an error has been made on our part, and in this case, please contact us at serviceclients@connectparis.net or by by calling us on +33 (0)1 45 63 30 66 so that we can send you a pre-paid return label. We will send you the correct item depending on available stock. Please fill in the return form that is provided within your order, you can also find it here.

No exchange can be made, we will only refund you the price of the article.

To be able to accept your return and to attribute your credit note, you must place the item in its original packaging, making sure it is properly protected.

If the faulty item was no longer available, Connect Paris would refund you the cost of the item.

Any orders that have not been received must be declared by the customer in a maximum delay of 15 working days from the last delivery date provided.

Upon receiving the declaration stating you have not received your “Connect Paris” order, we will file an enquiry with the relevant transporter.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

The brand name “Connect Paris”, as well as all the commercial brands, figurative or not, and all other brands, commercial names, service brands, illustrations, images, logos, designs and models, registered or not, copyrights and patents (hereafter “the Elements of intellectual property rights) appearing on our Products in our online Boutique, on all accessories or packaging, registered or not, are and remain the exclusive property of “Connect Paris” Any reproduction, total or partial, modification or use of the Elements of intellectual property rights , for any reason whatsoever or on any medium, is strictly prohibited without the express and prior written authorization of “Connect Paris” This prohibition also applies to all combination or use associated with any other brand, symbol, logo, or in a more general way, any distinctive sign used to compose a logo.

9. DATA PROTECTION

The visitor may have to provide personal information. Providing this nominative information is optional.

By entering this data into our e-shop, the visitor ensures that they are using their true identity, and that all information is true, up-to-date, genuine and complete at the time of communication.

By submitting an order, you accept and understand that we can keep and process your personal information. “Connect Paris” fully respects the privacy of the visitors using the online Boutique. The information relating to your order are processed automatically by FIA-NET S.A. This automatic process serves to define an analysis of the transaction and to prevent bank card fraud. Mixcommerce may implant a “cookie” in the visitor’s computer which allows it to identify him. However, Mixcommerce does not control the risks linked to Internet operation and draws the attention of Internet users to the existence of possible risks in terms of confidentiality of data transiting via this network and declines all responsibility attached to this risk.

"Connect Paris" strives to ensure the protection, security and confidentiality of its customers’ personal information and abides by GDPR laws. We take all the necessary steps to prevent personal data from being misrepresented or damaged and from being accessed by a third party.

In accordance with GDPR laws, the customer has the right to access, rectify and counteract any of their personal data.

Personal data could be passed on to our services and contractual partners, who contribute to managing orders and who need access to our customers’ personal data all whilst practicing GDPR laws. For example: their identity, the postal address, email address and phone number.

"Connect Paris" can contact their customers by e-mail, text message or by post through prior consent. The customer may opt-out of our marketing without any charges, by unsubscribing or replying STOP to our text messages.

In the event of the objection of data processing, no purchase on connectparis.net can be accepted.

10. AMENDMENTS TO THE PRESENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

“Connect Paris” informs the visitors to the Boutique that the present conditions may be modified at any time. These modifications are published online and are understood to be accepted without reservation by  all visitors who access the Boutique after their publication online.

11. FORCE MAJEURE

We cannot be held responsible for any lateness or any default in the execution of our obligations from the present General Conditions if this lateness or default is imputable to causes beyond our control.

In the event of unfair use or violation of the present Terms & Conditions could lead to the suspension of customer account, again, at the sole discretion of Connect Paris.

12. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

The present General Conditions and all the transactions relating to the online Boutique are governed by French law.

All litigation will be submitted to the jurisdiction of French Courts.
